The Hippo Slide at Hollywood Beach, FL

Families can cool off on the world’s largest inflatable water slide, which sits 50 feet high and features a 150-foot slide. The Hippo Slide, open Saturdays and Sundays through Sept. 14 (and Labor Day Sept. 1), is located across the street from the Hollywood Beach Theatre.

SEA TURTLE WALKS in Boca Raton

Thursdays: May 24 -July 15 Ages: 8 and older

Come witness one of nature’s extraordinary events, happening right here on our beaches. Learn about the Sea turtle’s life history, current issues affecting the turtles and what their future holds. Classes are held her at the nature center, while scouts comb the beaches for a nesting loggerhead sea turtle for us to view.

This year’s turtle watches will be held from May 24 to July 15 at 9pm.

Due to the late hour of the program children must be at least 8 years of age. Tickets must be purchased at the nature center.

Cost of ticket is $5.00 per person. Please call the nature center for further details.
