Gather up the family, grab a blanket or chair, head out to Mizner Park for an outdoor movie showing on a 40-foot screen at the Mizner Park Amphitheater.

This month’s film, “SHREK THE THIRD,” a computer-animated comedy, is brought to you by the City of Boca Raton, Mercantile Bank, Florida Health & Chiropractic Medicine, and Sunrise Cinema, who also hand out free popcorn and discount movie passes to Sunrise theaters.

Being king isn’t for everyone, and when Shrek married the Princess Fiona, the last thing he wanted was to rule Far Far Away Land. But Shrek, due to circumstances, is quickly fitted for the crown. As he sets off on a quest to search for a suitable replacement, Princess Fiona is confronted with her old nemesis, Prince Charming, who has revenge on his mind. Who and what will save the day to “Happily Ever Afters!”

Special cartoons will precede the feature film. Movie-going cuisine is available for purchase to benefit Boca Police Explorers. Seating is available first come, first serve…..chair rentals ($2) available through the Explorers…..please no family pets, alcohol, or smoking.
