It seems like only yesterday that the inaugural Festival of the Arts Boca filled Mizner Park with the sounds of today’s classic masters. However, it really has been a year—which means that this landmark cultural event is back for round two. To top last year’s success, the Centre for the Arts is pulling out all the stops: The event itself will be five days longer, the literary component will feature more authors, and the musical lineup will be much more diverse.
You can see soprano Renée Fleming, classical violinist Joshua Bell, and The 5 Browns, a group of siblings who are all virtuoso concert pianists. Return guests from 2007 will include the Russian National Orchestra, conductor Teodor Currentzis, flutists Sir James and Lady Jeanne Galway, and Latin band Tiempo Libre. See you under the tent!
Tickets range from $25 to $100.
