26th Annual Greek Festival in Boca Raton

The festival features Greek music and dancing, traditional food and pastries, kids’ rides and amusements, church tours, cash raffle prizes and vendors from around the world. The popular lunch and dinner menu features roasted lamb on the spit among other Greek favorites. A drive-through food booth will offer souvlaki, gyros, pastichio, moussaka, lamb shanks a la carte, spanakopita and tiropita, Greek salads, pastries and beverages.

2007 South Florida Fair in West Palm Beach, FL

Held annually, the 17-day event is Palm Beach County’s oldest and largest ourdoor event.

“Dreams, Screams, Chills and Thrills” await fairgoers. Palm Beach County’s largest and oldest outdoor event presents a bevy of new shows and attractions coupled with a multitude of traditional fair favorites that have entertained families for generations. A fourth entertainment stage is being added this year.

Enter an enchanting world of magic and fantasy displayed in an “Imagination gone Wild” expo of fairy tales and science. From there, see live audience shows that include the eye-popping Craz-e Crew stunt team, the amazing Kachunga Alligator Show, Vocal Trash, High Voltage, Living Illusions, and a spectacular world class ice show. Thrill-seekers may cling to any of over 80 electrifying rides and test their skills on dozens of challenging games and attractions at the Wade Shows midway carnival. Several musical entertainment acts include Miranda Lambert, Chris Cagle, Heartland, Foghat, America, Tree63 & Sanctus Real among others. Of course, no trip to the fair is complete without experiencing Florida’s vast and vibrant agriculture industry. Thousands of animals, livestock and poultryare showcased in the fair’s modern Agriplex. After a visit to the farm, catch a glittering parade or step into historic Yesteryear Village where time stands still.
