Special Appearance By Alexandre Renoir at Wentworth Gallery- Boca Raton

Where: Wentworth Gallery @ Town Center Mall, Boca Raton
Time: 6:00 PM
Wentworth Gallery at Town Center Mall, Boca Raton, will offer for acquisition a rare collection of original paintings, drawings, etchings and lithographs by the great masters of the Impressionist era together with one of today’s great Impressionist painters, ALEXANDRE RENOIR, great-grandson of PIERRE-AUGUSTE RENOIR. Renoir is scheduled to make two personal appearances during the exhibition and will personalize purchased works.

About Alexandre Renoir:
Alexandre Renoir was born in Cagnes Sur Mer, in the south of France, where his great-grandfather spent the last twelve years of his life. The family moved to Canada when Alexandre was young, and there he grew up surrounded by art and artists. While the Renoir family includes many cinematic greats (Jean Renoir, a notable film director; Pierre Renoir, a renowned actor; Claude Renoir Jr., a pre-eminent director of photography and his daughter Sophie, a talented actress), Alexandre is the first descendant to pursue the fine arts.

“Art is a journey, with no final destination, and this is a wonderful stop on my travels,” said Alexandre Renoir. “It’s an honor to display my drawings, etchings and paintings along with the work of my great-grandfather and his contemporaries.”
