Jaxson’s Ice Cream Parlor Restaurant & Country Store in Dania, FL

For over 40 years locals have been flocking to Jaxson’s Ice Cream Parlor from all over South Florida to try one of 60+ flavors of ice cream, not to mention a full lunch menu. Old-school bicycles, license plates, dolls and various other memorabilia hang on the walls of this fifties-style ice cream parlor that’s been said to ‘have the best ice cream in the United states.’ Service can be kind-of slow sometimes, but perhaps that’s because they’re so busy preparing fresh homemade ice cream, mile-long hotdogs and giant hamburgers to so many people, it’s hard to keep up.

Kids just love the never-ending popcorn machine, the ‘penny’ candy like in the ole days, and the humongous portions of ice cream. For larger groups (seven or more; definitely more), try their infamous ‘Kitchen Sink.’ It is literally a kitchen sink filled with every flavor of ice cream and topping you can think of. See if you can finish that!
