The Cereal Bowl…..a fun breakfast experience in Miami

For those of you who spent their college years eating a bowl of cereal for breakfast, lunch and dinner, you can revisit those years of simplicity at The Cereal Bowl, right across from the University of Miami. For as little as $3, indulge in creative combos like Morning Glory, which is Frosted Shredded Wheat, strawberries, bananas and almonds, or Mom Knows More with oatmeal, apple pie filling, peaches, cinnamon, brown sugar and graham bites. These are high and low-cal treats to fill that tummy in between classes, before work or as an inexpensive alternative to heavy late-night snacks.

Other offerings include cereal shakes and giant rice krispie cakes that can be specially designed for birthdays. There’s a full coffee bar as well as a happy hour from 5-7PM with a ‘buy one, get the second half off’ special. Plasma TV’s blast CNN weekdays and cartoons weekends. Businesses can purchase the breakfast box which is a giant box with three different cereals in it.

Should I Force Myself to wear Colored Demin?

Apparently, the denim world has gone just completely bonkers. Perhaps the forecast that denim is “over” has prompted them to take desperate measures. Perhaps they have cycled through every other trendy thing they can do with jeans. Whatever it is, denim makers seem to be chasing rainbows. Really. The big thing in denim this season and the next is colored denim.

Now I’m not saying colored denim is a horrible thing, but let’s face it, if you’re okay with looking like an adult-sized version of Osh Kosh B’gosh, well then go all out with the hot pink jeans! I just can’t seem to understand the appeal of wearing colored jeans because jeans aren’t really all that comfortable to begin with. I put up with it because I like the look of traditional denim. If you need pants that have color, why wouldn’t you just wear comfortable pants that are lime green?
